Massey House Frostbite Run Thanksgiving Morning November 23rd 8:00 AM

DVAROC joins The Historical Car Club of Pennsylvania , the oldest car club in Pennsylvania, at the Thomas Massey House.

Enjoy over 350 cars from Isetta’s to Rolls Royce, and W. O. Bentleys.

Bring TOYS FOR TOTS , and enjoy coffee donuts and hot Apple Cider. The show is a long standing Thanksgiving Broomall tradition.

Tour the historic Massey House , established 1696

The Massey House is located on Lawrence Road just before the Lawrence Park Shopping Center in Broomall .

Glenwood Memorial Gardens Fathers Day Car Show Sunday June 18th at 9:00 AM!!!!!!

Glenwood Memorial Gardens 2321 West Chester Pike Broomall PA , 19008 is hosting a Special Fathers Day Car Show on Fathers Day June 18th at 9:00 AM.

This is a Organized Event which will include participation from many other car clubs including the Ferrari Club, The FIAT Club, and many more!!!

Frost Bite Run 2016 Date: 11/24/2016 8:00 AM!

The 2016 Frostbite Run will take place on at 8:00 am Thanksgiving Day, Thrusday, November 24th, at the Massey House (Lawrence Road off of West Chester Pike or Springfield Road). We ask that you bring a new unwrapped toy to donate for the United States Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” Drive and a non-perishable food item for the local food bank. Free donuts and coffee will be provided by HCCP.


Hershey Italian Car Show 11/18 to 11/20

Italian Car Show starting on 11/18/16 at AACA Museum in Hershey – several Alfa’s will be featured. Opening Reception – Amore Della Strada: Italian Cars; November 18 from 6 – 8 PM. In addition the museum will have their Christmas decorations on display. The cars will be on display until April. Our own Bob Conlan’s 164l has been selected for the diplay(did I say that?)

November 6th Wine Tasting Tour


Members are reminded that the wine tasting tour, scheduled for 6 Nov is rapidly approaching. The normal end-of-tour luncheon this year will be held at La Verona, in Kennett Square. Menu selections, and pricing, as negotiated by the club’s Tours and Events Coordinator Alan Aptner, are shown below.

The price for the wine tasting is $12.00 per person payable at the winery. The price for the lunch, per person is a reasonable $32.50, INCLUDING TAX AND TIP, and includes three (3) courses, as follow:

1st- Soup du Jour/Salad du Jour

2nd- Entrée (select one(1) of following, per person):

a- Burger w/2 toppings

b- Crab Cake

c- Grilled Chicken Sandwich

d- Grilled Salmon

e- The Crab Cake, Grilled Chicken and the Grilled Salmon can be enjoyed as a topping for an entrée sized salad if that is preferred to a sandwich.

3rd- Dessert- mixed pastries (cookies/brownies etc)

Choice of beverage; soda, coffee, tea.

Not included are wine, beer, liquor, or other alcoholic beverages; there is a cash bar for those.

Those planning on attending are requested to RSVP not later than 31 Oct 2016 to Alan Aptner at

At that time please let Alan know the following:

a- How many people in your party (total number) and-

b- Whether or not you (and they) will be attending lunch, with us at La Verona and, if so-

c- Selection of one entrée per person, from menu selections above and-

d- Cell phone participant will be using on tour day

Please Note- Participants, if attending lunch, will be required to be prepared to pay, either by

check (payable to Alan Aptner) or cash, no credit cards, on tour day, prior to departure from the start point.

Also PLEASE NOTE- Once participants have committed to lunch with the club at La Verona

in the RSVP, they will be obligated to pay, whether or not they or their guests actually attend.

This is necessary because the club (and the organizers) will be committed to the restaurant for the head count based on input from the RSVP.

Also, participants and their partners/guests are required to complete, sign, date, and turn in to either Alan, Jon Kligerman, or Jack Stoll, upon arrival at the start point on tour day, the attached Driving Event Release Form.

All participants are to be at the start point, located at the parking lot of The Kimberton Inn, 2105

Kimberton Rd, Kimberton PA 19442 (for GPS – use Phoenixville PA 19460), NOT LATER than 9:00 AM Sunday, 6 Nov 2016. If anyone has a problem on tour day they should call either Jack Stoll (cell ph 215-933-9790) , Jon Kligerman (cell 215-205-2876), or Alan Aptner (cell 215-630-5904)- DO NOT CALL home phone of any of these individuals on tour day!

Drivers should re-fuel prior to arriving at start point.
