The 2016 Frostbite Run will take place on at 8:00 am Thanksgiving Day, Thrusday, November 24th, at the Massey House (Lawrence Road off of West Chester Pike or Springfield Road). We ask that you bring a new unwrapped toy to donate for the United States Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” Drive and a non-perishable food item for the local food bank. Free donuts and coffee will be provided by HCCP.

Italian Car Show starting on 11/18/16 at AACA Museum in Hershey – several Alfa’s will be featured. http://www.aacamuseum.org/events/ Opening Reception – Amore Della Strada: Italian Cars; November 18 from 6 – 8 PM. In addition the museum will have their Christmas decorations on display. The cars will be on display until April. Our own Bob Conlan’s 164l has been selected for the diplay(did I say that?)
2016 WINE TASTING TOUR- 6 NOVEMBER 2016
Members are reminded that the wine tasting tour, scheduled for 6 Nov is rapidly approaching. The normal end-of-tour luncheon this year will be held at La Verona, in Kennett Square. Menu selections, and pricing, as negotiated by the club’s Tours and Events Coordinator Alan Aptner, are shown below.
The price for the wine tasting is $12.00 per person payable at the winery. The price for the lunch, per person is a reasonable $32.50, INCLUDING TAX AND TIP, and includes three (3) courses, as follow:
1st- Soup du Jour/Salad du Jour
2nd- Entrée (select one(1) of following, per person):
a- Burger w/2 toppings
b- Crab Cake
c- Grilled Chicken Sandwich
d- Grilled Salmon
e- The Crab Cake, Grilled Chicken and the Grilled Salmon can be enjoyed as a topping for an entrée sized salad if that is preferred to a sandwich.
3rd- Dessert- mixed pastries (cookies/brownies etc)
Choice of beverage; soda, coffee, tea.
Not included are wine, beer, liquor, or other alcoholic beverages; there is a cash bar for those.

This is necessary because the club (and the organizers) will be committed to the restaurant for the head count based on input from the RSVP.
Also, participants and their partners/guests are required to complete, sign, date, and turn in to either Alan, Jon Kligerman, or Jack Stoll, upon arrival at the start point on tour day, the attached Driving Event Release Form.

You are cordially invited to this year’s DVAROC fall picnic, to be held at Le Petit Mont (often referred to as the Villa d’Este of Chester County). Join us high above the picturesque Brandywine Creek for a lovely afternoon among beautiful cars, breathtaking scenery, and a warm community of enthusiasts. The event will take place on Sunday, October 16th and will start a little before noon. Gourmet lunches and drinks will be provided. A $10/person donation is requested to help defray a portion of the costs. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and Alfa Romeo related trinkets that can be given away as prizes.
