I will assume the recently vacated Vice President Position until fall elections. I will also continue to serve as Treasurer. I intend to run for re-election as Treasurer and will also hope to get nominated to run for Vice President. I have been a member of dvaroc.org for over 30 years, and have served as Treasurer at the request of Bob Brady and other officers, since October of 2010. During my term I secured the first Tax ID number for the club and registered the club at my residence. I opened a Commercial Money Market account with free checking, and during my term funds have grown to over $6,000 for the first time in the history of the club. In addition to this I have contributed to much of the content on our website, and did event planning with Mike Sents, and often without his assistance. I published the traditional Lavoce newsletter in 2013 , 2015, and again in 2016. I was always in attendance in almost all of our events , and have facilitated dealership held events. I hope to find the required 5 nomination to continue as Vice President.

2015 Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance
RADNOR HUNT CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE ANNOUNCES FEATURED CLASSES
Packard, Alfa Romeo and Classic Pickup Trucks
To Share Radnor Hunt Show Field with
BMW Motorcycles, Police Motorcycles and Land Speed Record Holders
Malvern, PA January 28, 2015 – The Car Selection Committee of the Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance announced that the featured marques of the 19th Annual event are Packard, Alfa Romeo and Classic Pickup Trucks. BMW is the featured motorcycle make for the 2015 event and will share the spotlight with Police Motorcycles and Land Speed Record Holders. The concours takes place the weekend of September 11, 12 and 13 on the grounds of Radnor Hunt.
“This year we will feature the elegance of Packard, the beauty and power of Alfa Romeo,” said Michael G. Tillson III, chairman, Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance. “And the show field will also showcase the nostalgia of classic pickup trucks prior to 1970. The motorcycle field will feature BMW, Police Motorcycles and Land Speed Record Holders. The 2015 event is the eighth consecutive year that we will have a display of vintage horse-drawn coaches and carriages that illustrate the evolution of transportation, something no other concours offers.”
The Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance encompasses three days of activities beginning with the Friday evening Barbecue, followed by the always popular Road Rally through the scenic countryside of Chester County on Saturday morning, culminating in a catered lunch. The Saturday evening Black Tie Gala, Silent Auction and Art Show Preview is the prelude to the main event, the concours d’elegance on Sunday.
Each year, the concours event, an invitation-only show, has a featured marque, a vehicle type or coachbuilder and a motorcycle make. The 2015 event will showcase the most interesting and significant Packard automobiles, vintage Alfa Romeo cars and classic pickup trucks built prior to 1970.
The event also includes Motorsport Park, providing local marque car clubs the opportunity to gather in an exclusive parking area close to the show field entrance on Sunday, as well as a Cars & Coffee gathering on Saturday concurrent with the road rally. The Marketplace area features a variety of both automotive and non-automotive merchants, and offering specialized shopping for concours attendees.
Advance discount tickets for all activities are available online at www.radnorconcours.org and include the popular VIP Luncheon and the elite Chairman’s VIP reserved seating area overlooking the show field.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Thorncroft Equestrian Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The Thorncroft Equestrian Center is committed to a mainstreaming approach for teaching horseback riding and to promoting the development of new and independent therapeutic riding programs, particularly for those with special needs.
